Registered Nurse - Infusion Clinic

Overview Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is hiring for an Oncology Clinic Nurse for their Oncology Clinic and Infusion room. This position supports care coordination, research studies, patient and family education, scheduling, triage, assist with procedures, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary innovative care team committed to improving patient outcomes. This is a high-volume fast-paced Magnet-designated clinic. The clinic is INCP and QOPI Certified. Hours: Monday – Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM. May be asked to float to other locations: Overland Park, North Kansas City, Lees Summit. Responsibilities Phone triage Schedule emergent-need appointments Patient follow-up calls Patient education on particular procedures and processes Subject matter expert in respective specialty for hospital RNs in the units Regularly meets with other disciplines to share best practices on care treatments Care for patients with a long-term treatment process Job Requirements Applicable Experience: 1 year Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate - Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation Registered Nurse - Various Education: Associate Degree Notes Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Saint Luke's
