We pride ourselves on our collaborative approach, where you will work closely with a team of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all focused on delivering exceptional patient care.

Work Environment

The work environment is an outpatient office located in Reston, Virginia. Our facility is designed to create an inviting and supportive atmosphere, fostering an optimal healing environment. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. We primarily accept private medical insurance, ensuring our patients have access to the best care possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and address individual patient goals and needs through tailored physical therapy interventions.
• Manage a patient caseload of 2-3 patients per hour effectively, ensuring each session is productive and goal-oriented.
• Deliver orthopedic outpatient care, applying your expertise in evidence-based practices and proven treatment techniques.
• Offer cost-effective treatment solutions aimed at improving patient mobility and reducing reliance on medications or surgical interventions.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate a wide range of treatment modalities to address patient issues.
• Create customized fitness and wellness programs aligned with patients' specific rehabilitation needs.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment journey to achieve optimal function.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure the best outcomes.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient sessions and progress, complying with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary clientele consists of individuals seeking orthopedic rehabilitation, including post-operative patients, athletes recovering from injuries, and individuals with chronic conditions affecting their mobility. You will play a crucial role in helping these individuals regain function and return to their daily activities with confidence and improved physical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia is mandatory.
• No board actions or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong manual therapy and exercise skills are essential for this role.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• A proven track record of developing effective treatment plans and improving patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
