Job Description

• Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and craft personalized therapy strategies to assist them in reaching their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methodologies to boost patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver thorough, holistic care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Empower patients and their loved ones with knowledge about therapeutic approaches to encourage continued progress at home.
• Track and Record Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment, ensuring patients remain on course toward their goals.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouragement for ongoing education, including post-graduate certifications

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification necessary
