The Employee Benefits Insurance Department Lead will play a pivotal role in overseeing departmental operations, managing a team, and contributing to the growth of a self-funded business segment. Compensation Package Base Salary: $150,000 annually Additional Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment Responsibilities Lead and oversee the EBAE department, managing a team of four direct reports. Handle a smaller book of business while contributing to the department's overall revenue of approximately $2 million. Drive growth in the self-funded business segment, focusing on accounts with 50-100+ lives. Develop and implement operating procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Conduct weekly team meetings and participate in department head meetings. Collaborate with ownership and other department leaders to align strategies and goals. Qualifications/Requirements Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in self-funded accounts. Technical Skills: Proficiency in BenefitPoint and Employee Navigator software. Leadership: Proven ability to manage and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
