Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation

Job Summary:
The Rehabilitation Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care within the rehab unit, ensuring patients receive comprehensive treatment geared toward recovery and functional improvement. This role involves floating to Med/Surg as needed, supporting seamless patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver professional nursing care to patients according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including individualized care plans each shift.
• Communicate patient information effectively during bedside report, multidisciplinary rounds, and hourly rounding to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in unit safety initiatives, including safety huddles and quality improvement activities.
• Actively seek feedback and collaborate with other healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Serve as a preceptor for new nurses and assist in orientation and training activities.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in New Hampshire or relevant state.
• Demonstrate proficiency or willingness to obtain basic dysrhythmia recognition skills prior to orientation completion.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program preferred.
• Complete CPI training prior to completing orientation for crisis prevention skills.
• Possess knowledge of hospital policies, safety protocols, and patient care standards.
