Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CTJob Title: Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CTDuration: 13 weeksShift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: N/ALicense: NYS Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License with Injection RegisteredCertifications: ARRT (CT), BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross) Must-Have: Requires ARRT (CT)Description: The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CT will ensure that the evaluation of Radiology procedures, equipment, and staff are administered in a fashion that is accurate, timely, responsive, and reliable. Customers served include employees, Medical Staff, patients, and regulatory agencies. Priority will be given to activities that directly affect customer service. Maintains confidentiality of patients and hospital information. Complies with all hospital policies and procedures pertaining to incident reporting. Performs other related duties as required. Demonstrates the ability to perform CT procedures as requested by referring physicians. Demonstrates adequate radiation safety practices as they relate to both patients and co-workers. Participates in all Radiology Management System functions pertaining to patient procedures. Provides patient education as required. Maintains effective communications with referring physician and radiologist staff to provide for the efficient delivery of CT procedures. Abides by the service delivery standards of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology in interactions with patients, visitors, employees, or other customers.
