This full-time position allows for the flexibility of remote work while primarily serving clients from our outpatient office in Newark, New Jersey. As an LMFT, you will be instrumental in guiding individuals, couples, and families through their emotional and relational challenges, particularly focusing on issues related to divorce and relationship counseling.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in individual clients and families.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate personalized treatment plans that align with their goals and preferences, utilizing modalities such as structural family therapy, strategic therapy, and communication therapy.

• Implement evidence-based treatment practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address clients’ emotional and relational needs.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care techniques to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes and ensuring alignment with best practices.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring that clients receive holistic support.

• Stay updated on the latest research and developments in the field of marriage and family therapy to continually enhance treatment strategies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
