Location: US:WI:MENOMONEE FALLS at our FROEDTERT MEN FALLS HOSPITAL facility.

Standard Hours: 40.00

Shift: Shift 1

Shift Details: 10 hour shifts (6:30AM - 5:00PM), with occasional rotation to early PM shift to cover colleagues' PTO (advance notification provided). Responsible for weeknight, weekend and holiday on-call rotation. Orientation will include 30 day rotation on PM shift.

Job Summary:

As a member of the healthcare team, collaborates with the surgical team to provide care for patient insuring that the goals of the patients are met and the mission of the hospital is carried out. Other duties as assigned. 

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: 

The Surgical Technologist is a recent graduate from an accredited Surgical Technologist (ST) program or the Froedtert Health sponsored apprentice II program. Has less than one year of experience as an ST.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: 

High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Post high school education, certification or diploma required. Completion of a Surgical Technologist program, completion of Military Operating Room Specialist course or the Froedtert Health sponsored apprentice II program required.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: 

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
