Environment, Health and Safety Manager

Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager A leading steel fabrication company is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to oversee safety and environmental compliance across operations. This hands‑on leadership role focuses on building a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement. Design, implement, and continuously enhance environmental health and safety (EHS) compliance programs Lead behavior‑based safety initiatives while promoting a strong, safety‑first workplace culture Conduct facility safety audits and oversee corrective action tracking and closure Investigate incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing preventive solutions Deliver engaging safety training programs for employees and contractors Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations Prepare, manage, and maintain required safety documentation and reports Act as the primary point of contact for OSHA visits and insurance inspections ✅ Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Safety & Health, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience), plus a minimum of 5 years of safety leadership experience in a manufacturing environment In-depth understanding of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and relevant state and local compliance requirements Demonstrated success in performing safety audits, leading incident investigations, and driving corrective and preventive actions Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP or company management systems Professional safety certifications strongly preferred, including ASP or CSP, OSHA 500 or 30‑Hour, and First Aid/CPR/AED Apply now or send your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io #J-18808-Ljbffr Novax Recruitment Group
