Hospice Administrator

This is a unique opportunity for someone with experience in hospice, home health, healthcare operations, office management, senior administrative support, care coordination, or similar leadership support functions who understands the "Fort Mill / greater Charlotte" healthcare landscape and is looking to transition into a true operational leadership role. Key Responsibilities Support and gradually assume leadership of the Fort Mill hospice program, including daily operations, staff coordination, and patient service oversight. Work closely with regional leadership and experienced operators to learn the administrative side of hospice management. Help oversee scheduling, staffing coordination, onboarding, office operations, and interdisciplinary team communication. Assist in maintaining compliance with hospice regulations, documentation standards, and operational policies. Build relationships with referral sources, facilities, physicians, and community partners throughout the local market. Support census growth initiatives and help maintain strong patient and family satisfaction. Participate in performance improvement initiatives, operational planning, and team development. Foster a positive, compassionate, and team-oriented culture for both staff and patients. Grow into full operational leadership responsibilities over time. Who We’re Looking For Experience in hospice, home health, healthcare operations, office management, healthcare administration support, patient coordination, or related healthcare environments. Candidates currently working in hospice or home health who want to step into an Administrator track are strongly encouraged to apply. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities. Knowledge of the "Fort Mill / Charlotte" healthcare market is highly preferred. Someone who is proactive, dependable, coachable, and excited about long-term growth. Experience supporting interdisciplinary healthcare teams is a plus. Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required for the right candidate with strong industry experience. Compensation Base Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 annually, depending on experience and background. Performance Bonuses tied to operational success and growth initiatives.
