About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Legal Assistant. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can support attorneys and the firm in all aspects of running a law firm. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, a willingness to assist in administrative tasks and a willingness to learn additional duties.



Responsibilities:

• Assistant attorneys in ensuring mail is properly processed both in and out of the office.
• Open files including ensuring intial documents are signed by client.
• Assist with accounts payable.
• Communicate and schedule clients and other appointments.
• Organize and maintain client files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Ensure office supplies are organized and properly ordered.
• Provide other general administrative support to attorneys and legal staff.
• Assume paralegal duties, such as drafting documents and preparting for litigation as able.

Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
