New York Times 3-Stars. Michelin 1 Star since 2009. Role Description:. . This is a full-time position for FOH Manager.. . We are looking for a candidate who takes a 'hands-on' approach to management and is willing to lead by example and with empathy. You will work to support our staff to successfully provide guests with a service that is warm, knowledgeable & appreciative. In addition to being present on the floor during service, your job duties will include events, and administrative tasks such as composing daily reports, cash handling, ordering & closing the restaurant.. . The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong leadership skills, and a passion for hospitality.. They will positively lead and inspire the service team, contributing to a collaborative work environment and culture.. . Desired Qualifications:. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Passion for wine and understanding of Spanish wine varietals and regions. Efficient in OpenTable and Toast POS Systems. Must have 2 years experience in an NYC restaurant as a Manager. Food Handlers certification preferred. Have a warm, positive, and noticeably appreciative demeanor toward guests and colleagues. Be able to effectively communicate, give and take constructive criticism, and productively lead a team. Must be able to easily adapt and improvise..
