Employment Litigation Attorney

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Employment Litigation Attorney on behalf of a full-service business law firm in San Jose, CA . The ideal candidate is a driven employment attorney who thrives in a fast-paced practice, delivers strategic counsel to employers, and is eager to take an active role in complex litigation and client advisory work. Key Responsibilities Represent employers in employment litigation matters, including wage and hour disputes, discrimination claims, wrongful termination cases, and class actions. Advise clients on employment law compliance, workplace policies, and risk management strategies. Handle administrative agency charges and pre‑litigation employment disputes. Provide guidance regarding leave laws, disability accommodations, wage and hour compliance, and related employment matters. Assist with policy development, compliance training, and proactive counseling for employer clients. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation‑related documents. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active membership in the California State Bar and in good standing. 3‑5+ years of labor and employment law experience. Experience handling employment litigation matters, including wage and hour, class action, discrimination, and wrongful termination cases. Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and California wage and hour laws. Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage cases effectively and deliver excellent client service. Base salary range of $190,000–$240,000, depending on experience. Performance‑based bonus opportunities.
