Job Description Description SAIC has immediate need for aSeniorSoftware Developer, supporting the Precision Fires team for CCDC Aviation and Missile Center, Systems Simulation, Software and Integration Directorate (S3I) located onRedstone Arsenal, inHuntsville, Alabama. Responsibilities and Duties:The candidate will be responsible for design and development of embedded software for military systems. The candidate will perform development activities for the full life cycle of a software program.Duties may include requirements analysis, design, coding, integration, test, documentation, and support. The candidate willalso participate in software team meetings, hardware and software design reviews, and technical interchange meetings. The software engineering process also empowers the candidate to work with Cyber, Safety, Operations, and Test organizations to deliver high quality working software. The candidates will work in a team environment, with well-defined goals, supporting both new and legacy embedded systems. The candidate is able to receive timely feedback on software implementation by working directly with the customer, ensuring Agility and delivering a software product that fills immediate needs. Qualifications Education Requirements:Bachelors and nine (9) years’ experience; Additional six (6) years’ experience can be considered in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle).Clearance Requirements:Must possess an active Secret security clearance; US Citizenship required.Required Skills:C/C++and other Object Oriented LanguagesAgile Development Experience, specifically ScrumContinuous Integration and AutomationOO programming and design, including writing unit testsMicrosoft AzureDevOpsExperience with Git, SVNLinuxMS Visual Studio Overview SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.SAIC®is a premier mission integrator focused on advancing the power of technology and innovation to serve and protect our world.
