Job Description:
Provides professional nursing care in the operating room environment performing assessments, assisting with procedures, and ensuring the well-being of patients during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care during surgery including monitoring vital signs, operating specialized equipment, and facilitating communication with surgical teams.
- Floating to all operating rooms as needed.
- On-call responsibilities up to 6 shifts per 13-week contract.
Requirements:
- KS RN license & AHA BLS certification.
- 2+ years of experience with level 1 trauma and strong scrub experience.
- Familiarity with DaVinci robot cases, large head and neck cases, neuro spine, and ex lap cases.
- Previous travel experience preferred.
