Experienced Corporate Controller for Commercial Real Estate Firm

Job Description Job Description About Blatteis Realty Company: We are a well-established Commercial Real Estate Firm based in San Francisco with over 100 years of experience. We currently manage 40 commercial buildings in the Bay Area and are seeking a full-time, onsite Corporate Controller to join our team. This position requires a Seasoned Professional with a strong background in financial and operational leadership, reporting directly to the Partners. Responsibilities and Expectations: - Demonstrated integrity, exceptional organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Strong working knowledge of YardiBreeze (Required) - Proactively manage day-to-day financial operations and contribute to the overall success of the organization - Oversee all accounting and financial functions within the firm - Supervise accounts payable, bookkeeping, bill payments, and financial record organization - Maintain general ledger and accounting system for each property - Participate in key decision-making as a member of the management team - Reconcile inter-company accounts - Develop policies and procedures to improve performance and reduce risk - Prepare monthly financial statements and analysis for each property under management - Other duties as assigned by the Partners - Minimum of 3 years of experience in senior accounting or financial positions - Knowledge of finance, accounting software, and strategic planning - Detail-oriented and results-driven - Maintain confidentiality of organizational information - Effective verbal and written communication skills - Strong prioritization and time management abilities - Collaborate closely with Property Managers and Admin staff as a team player -Huge Plus working in a Commercial Real Estate Firm Salary and Benefits: - Medical plan - Paid vacation -Awesome Team!
