Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide psychotherapy services to clients—individuals, couples, families, or groups—through telehealth and occasional in-person interactions, ensuring a comfortable and safe space for therapeutic engagement.

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans that reflect collaborative input from clients and their families.
\n
• Maintain updated, HIPAA-compliant clinical documentation using our EHR platform, ensuring accurate tracking of client progress and treatment effectiveness.

• Collaborate effectively with school staff, external providers, and community resources to ensure comprehensive support for clients’ mental health and educational goals.

• Participate in optional team meetings and peer consultations, fostering a sense of community and support among colleagues.
\n
• Uphold the highest ethical and legal standards of care in alignment with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) guidelines, striving to protect client confidentiality and promote best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with diverse populations, primarily focusing on school-aged children and adolescents experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, and issues related to life transitions. Your approach will emphasize cultural sensitivity and a personalized understanding of each client’s unique circumstances and background.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of an active LCSW license in California, in good standing.

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
\n
• Minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience in providing psychotherapy.
\n
• Strong foundation in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and psychodynamic approaches.

• Proven ability to work autonomously while participating in and enhancing a collaborative team culture.

• Familiarity with or readiness to learn telehealth platforms and EHR systems.

Preferred Experience\n

• Bilingual proficiency in languages such as Spanish, Vietnamese, Tagalog, Mandarin, or others, enhancing our ability to serve diverse communities.

• Specialized training in therapeutic modalities such as EMDR, DBT, CBT, motivational interviewing, or somatic therapies.

• Experience working with underserved communities, school-based programs, or within community mental health settings.

• Comfort using EHR systems such as SimplePractice or TherapyNotes for clinical documentation and client management.

• Competitive annual salary in the range of $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
