Work Environment\n

This role is a full-time, remote position, allowing flexibility while ensuring you remain connected with your team and the communities we serve. You will work in partnership with schools in Thousand Oaks, California, utilizing virtual platforms to deliver therapy sessions and support. You will have the technological resources necessary to conduct assessments and therapy, as well as to manage and document patient information efficiently.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ mental health status, including emotional, behavioral, and social functioning to identify their specific needs.

• Provide one-on-one and group psychotherapy sessions to children and adolescents addressing a range of mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and are sensitive to the diverse backgrounds of the students you serve.

• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed, based on clinical assessments and feedback.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals to create a supportive environment that promotes positive mental health and academic achievement.

• Utilize electronic health records (EHRs) to manage patient documentation ensuring compliance with confidentiality regulations and organizational policies.

Your primary focus will be on students in school settings who face various mental health challenges. This includes addressing issues stemming from academic pressure, social dynamics, family situations, and behavioral disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n
