Speech Language Pathologist

Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/ cognitive impairments, utilizing a variety of evidence‑based therapeutic techniques. Establish treatment goals and develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation. Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team. Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients. Conduct individualized one‑on‑one treatment sessions with each patient, focusing on a functional‑based treatment approach. Qualifications Master’s Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology. Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or the ability to obtain one prior to beginning employment. Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.
