Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines.
• Respond promptly to telephone inquiries, triaging calls appropriately while offering reassurance, clear instructions, and education to patients.
• Facilitate efficient healthcare delivery during patient visits by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and documenting findings accurately in electronic medical records.
• Observe and communicate abnormal patient signs to physicians, ensuring thorough documentation and patient understanding of discharge instructions.
• Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams, including applying splints, dressings, and managing sample medications and logs.
• Coordinate patient testing, admissions, referrals, and follow-up on test results, ensuring patients are informed timely.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs as prescribed.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.

Education and Experience Required:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or an accredited Nursing Program.

Work Schedule: Full-time, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 40 hours per week.
