Senior Project Manager, R&D

Stryker seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead complex product engineering initiatives within a multi-billion-dollar medical device portfolio. This hybrid role in Portage, Michigan requires strategic oversight of cross-functional teams managing scope, budgets, quality, regulatory compliance, and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute project charters, management plans, and detailed Gantt charts
- Define and manage project scope, schedules, and budgets with cross-functional stakeholders
- Develop quality and risk management plans using multiple planning methodologies
- Assign resources, define roles and responsibilities, and manage team performance
- Own project outcomes by evaluating trade-offs and ensuring organizational goal alignment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- Minimum 6 years of project management experience
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex timelines
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project
- PMP certification or equivalent (preferred)
- Experience in regulated or quality-driven environments (preferred)
Compensation: $95,700 - $159,500 USD Annual
