Logistics Coordinator

As the Logistics Coordinator , you will manage a variety of supply‑chain logistics tasks including execution of shipments, coordination of reverse logistics programs, and dispatching duties for the PPG company fleet. You will be based at the Texas (Ennis) plant and report to the Manager of Logistics. Responsibilities Maintain control and archive inbound and outbound shipping logs. Maintain scheduling system for inbound and outbound shipments for the corresponding plant. Plan daily upcoming shipments using tools such as Internal TMS Dashboard and TMS provider dashboard. Vet detention and layover charges. Review accuracy of bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and other shipping documents required for each load. Provide international documents to brokers and carriers as per SOPs. Provide data and feedback to support Transportation Management Provider RFQs as necessary. Receive purchase orders, post production orders, and provide backup support as needed. Arrange transfers between plants and external warehouses. Accurately enter selected loads in the Transportation Management System to support RMAs (Return Material Authorization). Ensure PPG drivers and/or outside carriers follow on‑site safety procedures and conduct pre‑shipment inspections. Qualifications High school diploma or GED plus at least 3 years of logistics and administrative experience. Dispatching experience. Excel and pivot knowledge preferred. Hazmat certification or training preferred (or must obtain within first 4 months). Benefits and Compensation PPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location.
