B2B Ingredient BrandBusiness Manager

Our client is seeking an accomplished B2B, Nutraceutical Ingredient Business Manager to drive growth and market presence for their growing ingredient portfolio. This candidate must have experience with nutraceutical branded ingredients and commodities and an added bonus if they have experience with Mushroom extracts. Ideally this person will have strong business acumen, market insight, project management, and a technical background (preferably in nutrition science). This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution to develop marketing strategies, deliver product presentations, and enhance brand equity in the B2B sector.
**This position is fully remote in the United States
Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Strategy:
Develop and execute B2B brand strategies aligned with company goals. Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs. Define positioning and messaging for B2B audiences. - Business Operations:
Understand P&L, sales forecasting, and commercialization. Collaborate with operations, R&D, and supply chain to ensure product availability and process improvements. - Market & Customer Insight:
Stay current on B2B ingredient trends, regulations, and technology. Translate technical details into clear market messages. Represent customer needs with suppliers. - Project & Pipeline Management:
Work with sales managers to advance new projects and maintain a strong product pipeline. Manage multiple projects, track progress, and mitigate risks. - Communication & Marketing:
Deliver clear, compelling presentations and collaborate on marketing materials. Support sales with effective tools and strategies. - Technical Expertise:
Use a technical background (nutrition science preferred) to understand product functionality and regulations. Translate scientific data into commercial messaging and support sales teams. - Self-Driven & Adaptable:
Work independently, show initiative, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Nutrition Science, Food Science, Chemistry, or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in B2B brand management or product marketing (ingredients, food & beverage, or nutraceuticals).
- Proven success in launching B2B brands/products.
- Strong market research, financial, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency with marketing platforms, CRM, and Microsoft Office.
Compensation and Benefits:
