We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Shop Technician eager to learn the electrical motor and generator trade. Our small, experienced team serves industrial, commercial, and residential clients, providing reliable maintenance and repair services. This role offers on-the-job training and the opportunity to develop valuable technical skills within a close-knit team environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical motor repair and generator maintenance
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability
- Engage in continuous learning and skill development
- Support a small team with occasional local travel to customer sites
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in electrical motor or generator maintenance
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
