Construction Billing Specialist

Overview HCI Systems Inc. is a rapidly growing low-voltage contracting company based in California. We are seeking a Construction Billing Specialist to join our team in Ontario to support our Accounting Team with our billing process. Prior hands-on experience with billings is required. Responsibilities Prepare and submit AIA billings (G702/G703) accurately and efficiently Complete and submit GC payment applications through platforms such as Textura, GC pay applications, Procore, or other GC platforms Collect, track, and log subcontractor and supplier lien releases Monitor submitted billings and follow up with general contractors to ensure timely review Work closely with our general contractors and project managers to support monthly progress billings Manage a high-volume billing workload, processing hundreds of invoices per month Monitor and respond to billing rejections and coordinate corrections with the Project Manager Qualifications 3-4+ years of experience with construction billing Knowledge of Textura, GCPay, Procore, and other GC platforms/portals Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field is a plus Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail, organizational and multitasking skills Strong customer service mindset and ability to problem-solve Excellent verbal and written communication skills Why Join Us?
