A rapidly expanding, multi-unit hospitality group known for its innovative culinary concepts and high-energy dining experiences is seeking an experienced Controller / Senior Accounting Manager to lead its corporate accounting operations. Position Responsibilities Oversee end-to-end accounting functions including general ledger maintenance, heavy accounts payable operations, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management. Drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure total accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Lead and educate operational staff and restaurant locations on invoice uploads, system processes, and vendor documentation. Maintain strict internal controls, oversee audit processes, and ensure full compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Manage heavy invoice volume efficiently to maintain seamless vendor relations and avoid supply delays. Mentor, train, and guide junior accounting personnel and support staff. Position Requirements Active CPA license is required. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Proven track record managing high-volume Accounts Payable processes (handling 1,000+ invoices weekly). Strong, proactive communication skills with the ability to guide non-accounting operational staff. Ability to work on-site five days per week at the Woodland Hills, CA office. Fast-paced, adaptable mindset with strong operational multitasking capabilities.
