Credit and Collection Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Credit & Collections Representative to join their team. As a Credit & Collections Representative, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Collections team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Credit & Collections Specialist


Location: Somerset, NJ (Franklin Township)


Pay Range: $30.39 per hour

Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Maintain and administer credit limits and payment terms for an assigned portfolio of accounts.
• Collect delinquent payments and provide guidance to sales teams regarding collection efforts.
• Identify potential bad debt accounts and escalate cases to management as needed.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve discrepancies in accounts.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve payment disputes and address customer concerns.

What's Needed?

• 3-5 years of experience in large corporation credit and collections.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle PeopleSoft.
• Ability to work proactively and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment in decision-making.
