Volt is immediately hiring for Accounts Payable Analyst in Newport News, VA As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will:

• Support the corporate card and expense audit processes, ensuring compliance with company policies, internal controls, and service level expectations
• Audit expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls monitoring to identify misuse, fraud risk, or policy violations
• Validate completeness, accuracy, and appropriate business purpose documentation, ensuring reviews are completed within established SLA requirements.
• Review purchase card transactions and validate appropriate usage, recording transactions against purchase orders, where applicable, investigating and resolving discrepancies or unmatched transactions, monitoring aged balances and performing timely follow-up for resolution.
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure transactions are accurately recorded, supporting month-end and ad hoc reconciliation activities as assigned, maintaining supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
• Assist with administration of the corporate card program, supporting new card setup, user training, and onboarding activities, contribute to process documentation and updates to SOPs.

This is a full-time contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience of Accounts Payable, expense auditing, and internal controls and audit processes.
• Experience corporate card programs.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion).
• Experience with expense management tools (e.g., Concur, App Zen, or similar).
• Knowledge of reconciliation processes and financial reporting support
• Knowledge of advanced Excel skills, with ability to perform VLOOKUP's, create pivot tables, and effectively work with large data volume

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
