Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ emotional and mental health, utilizing therapeutic techniques from Engagement to Evaluation.

• Create tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring their personal goals and challenges are addressed.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions addressing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
\n
• Offer structured couples therapy sessions aimed at improving communication, conflict resolution skills, and emotional intimacy.
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Regularly review treatment strategies and make necessary adjustments based on the ongoing assessments of client progress.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention support, enhancing clients' coping skills during emergencies or acute distress.
\n
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure holistic care pathways for clients.

• Stay updated with current research, methodologies, and best practices relevant to marriage and family therapy.

• Promote self-care practices and wellness activities to empower clients towards better mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your expertise will cater to a wide range of clients, including individuals across various age groups, from teens navigating adolescence's complexities to couples seeking healthier relational dynamics. You will provide support for diverse mental health needs, fostering a safe space for clients to explore and work through their emotional challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Illinois is required.

• Proven ability to perform individual and/or couples therapy with measurable outcomes.

• Strong writing and verbal communication skills to facilitate efficient documentation and client interactions.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documenting client information and treatment progress.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary in the range of $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
