About the Role As Facility Manager, you will own the maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of our production facility and equipment, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted operations. What You'll Own Oversee maintenance, repair, and servicing of all facility equipment and systems to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and facility infrastructure Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for repairs and facility improvements Ensure the facility meets all regulatory and safety requirements including health, fire, and building codes Identify opportunities to improve facility efficiency, reduce costs, and extend equipment lifespan Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment service history, and facility inspections What We're Looking For Experience in facility management or maintenance in a food production or food manufacturing environment is required General knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems commonly found in food facilities Familiarity with food facility sanitation standards and regulatory compliance HACCP and/or quality assurance experience is a plus Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment with a small, collaborative team Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Moderate computer literacy Availability Monday through Friday, with willingness to assist outside normal hours in the event of emergencies Based in Hayward, CA Compensation and Benefits $80,000 to $120,000 depending on experience 401(k) Health, vision, and dental insurance Equity ownership Employee discount and staff meals #J-18808-Ljbffr Hire Curated
