Key Responsibilities\n

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Monitor and assess client progress throughout treatment plans to ensure successful outcomes, adjusting strategies as necessary.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, and social workers, to design and implement effective intervention plans.

• Stay informed about client hospital admissions by coordinating with psychiatrists and attending physicians to facilitate comprehensive care.
\n
• Identify barriers to recovery, proactively preventing behaviors that may impede client progress, and offering guidance to overcome these challenges.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing the mental and behavioral challenges faced by clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State.

• Demonstrated experience in mental health counseling or a similar capacity, showcasing your ability to connect with and support clients effectively.

• Comprehensive knowledge of psychiatric medication effects and best practices for their management.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear interactions with clients and collaborated healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling methodologies.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
