Leasing Consultant with LIHTC at Sosa at Palo Alto

Sandalwood Management is seeking a full-time LIHTC experienced Leasing Consultant to assist in the leasing office of Sosa at Palo Alto in San Antonio, TX.The Leasing Professional is the community’s sales representative. The primary duties of the leasing professional are to welcome prospects, understand their needs and wants and to be able to professionally present the features and benefits of the community to properly secure lease agreements from qualified persons. We are looking for someone extremely service oriented; cheerful and articulate, friendly and welcoming, quick to put people at ease, extremely organized and are always looking for opportunities to be proactive with service and quick. They will need to respond to inquiries and requests accurately and timely. Someone confident that enjoys selling a product that they know meets the needs of interested prospects. With a professional demeanor and are neatly and professionally presented at all times. Previous experience in residential leasing or in sales preferred.WHAT YOU’LL DO:Stand and greet everyone who enters the officeAnswer incoming phone calls and handle each call professionally whether it is a prospect call, resident, service request, etc.Welcome prospects to the property, understand their needs, build rapport and present the community as the ideal solution. Uncover and counter all objections and close the saleInspect tour route, amenities, models and market ready vacancies daily to ensure readiness for viewingAcquire and maintain up-to-date and thorough knowledge of the apartment community, local competitors and neighborhood (local schools, restaurants, shopping, recreation etc.)Help maintain and update market survey monthlyReview lease applications, assist with application verification and notify prospective residents of resultsWHAT WE REQUIRE:2+ years in Multifamily property management, proven track record of successStrong admin and communication skills.LIHTC experience, requiredFile management experience, requiredAbility to work SaturdaysValid driver’s licenseYardi experience, strongly preferredSuccessfully pass pre-employment background check and drug testCOMPENSATION:Up to $22/Hr. depending on role and experience.Monthly renewal commission and bonus opportunitiesBENEFITS:Rent discount options (eligibility requirements may apply)Medical, dental and vision benefits packages, company paid life insurance and 401(k)Paid holidays and vacation time #J-18808-Ljbffr Sandalwood-Management,-Inc.
