As a Security Guard Full Time Armed Associate Degree Patrol in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a professional environment while responding to evolving site needs with integrity, teamwork, and care. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and report access-control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with appropriate emergency personnel when needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and policy violations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Possess a DD214 with an Honorable Discharge, an Associate’s Degree, 60 college credits, a Police Academy Certificate, or a Corrections Academy Certificate.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Baton Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
