As an Unarmed Security Officer in a premier retail and mall setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and support a welcoming experience for visitors, tenants, and staff. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Sun: 11:30 AM - 08:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, retailers, and employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail district, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns. Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle activity, and assist with directing visitors in accordance with site procedures. Maintain a professional presence while supporting a welcoming retail environment and communicating clearly with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
