As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government museum location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and guests. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:45 AM - 06:15 PMFri10:45 AM - 06:15 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, staff, vendors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a public museum location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of galleries, entrances, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter spaces to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directional information, and report unauthorized access or policy violations according to established procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed. Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities. Minimum Requirements: Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
