As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur: 11:30 PM - 08:30 AM Sat: 07:00 AM - 08:00 PM Sun: 07:00 AM - 08:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and families by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, student-related concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, classrooms, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures, maintaining a courteous and professional presence. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
