As an Unarmed Security Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to residents, visitors, tenants, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate property. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues. Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with established property procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed. Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Have at least two years of security-related experience. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
