Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver Bicycle Patrol in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a residential community, you will conduct highly visible patrols by bicycle, monitor assigned areas, report security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to residents and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:00 PMTue07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWed07:00 AM - 03:00 PMThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or activity. Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and vendor entry in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and visitor records. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed. Help to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, and property-related concerns through a visible presence, professional communication, and timely reporting of observations. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Must be able to ride a bike. Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
