Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Perimeter Inspection in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier retail and mall destination, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service to visitors, tenants, and team members. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:30 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:30 AMWed11:00 PM - 07:30 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:30 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, shoppers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail and common areas, exterior walkways, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Maintain accurate logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information with Allied Universal leadership, property representatives, and emergency responders as needed. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
