A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist position—0.5 FTE, or 20 hours per week—is available, serving an elementary campus in the Roosevelt cluster. This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled professional eager to provide consistent and meaningful support to young learners.

Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• State licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP; Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an elementary setting
• Knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and IEP development
• Strong collaboration skills to work with educators, staff, and families
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional growth

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students
• Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and compliance documentation
• Offer guidance and training to teachers and families regarding communication disorders
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment focused on student success
