Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Nights)

Job Description

This position is for a Registered Nurse in a large, high-acuity Emergency Department, featuring 80 treatment spaces in a modern environment. Join an experienced, collaborative, and supportive team with strong leadership that focuses on high-quality patient care, including specialized geriatric emergency care as the area's first ACEP accredited geriatric ED.

Schedule

This is a 12-hour night shift position with rotations from 3 PM to 3 AM or 7 PM to 7 AM, totaling 36 hours per week. Candidates are required to work at least one weekend shift per contracted week or two weekend shifts every other weekend, as well as at least one holiday per contract.

Required Experience

• 2 years of recent nursing experience required.
• 2 years of U.S. work history required for non-U.S. candidates.

Required Certifications

• Active New York RN license.
• NIH certification.
• AHA BLS certification.

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.
