Description
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations in both inpatient and outpatient settings, creating tailored treatment plans for each patient
  • Implement and monitor physical therapy techniques focused on enhancing mobility, strength, stability, and functional return
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and case managers, to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic goals, transition plans, and at-home exercise regimens
  • Keep precise documentation of evaluations and treatments, adhering to facility and regulatory standards
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team rounds and conferences to ensure seamless patient care
Education
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution
Certifications
  • State licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Preferred: CPR certification
  • Specialized certifications (e.g., for neurological or geriatric populations) are advantageous but not essential
Skills
  • Prior experience in physical therapy is highly desirable
  • Capable of treating patients with diverse medical histories and mobility challenges
  • Strong aptitude for teamwork and communication
