As Executive Director, Business Operations Manager, you will serve as a strategic partner to the Head of Core Operations, helping drive alignment, organizational effectiveness, and progress across a complex, global organization. Working closely with the Core Operations Leadership Team—including Fraud & Customer Protection Services, Collections, Recovery & Auto Operations, Centralized Transaction Operations, Regulatory Operations, Customer Service, Card Lending Operations, Employee Experience, and India and Philippines Corporate Centers—you will connect priorities to coordinated action, support timely decision-making, and reinforce accountability for follow-through. This role complements Strategic Communications and Executive Administrative support by focusing on business integration, leadership governance, and cross-functional coordination.

As Executive Director, Business Operations Manager within Core Operations, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the Head of Core Operations and Core Operations Leadership Team, engaging directly with teams across Fraud & Customer Protection Services, Collections, Recovery & Auto Operations, Centralized Transaction Operations, Regulatory Operations, Customer Service, Card Lending Operations, Employee Experience, and India and Philippines Corporate Centers. You will coordinate leadership priorities, governance routines, business reviews, and planning activities. You will maintain an integrated view of strategic initiatives, decisions, risks, and dependencies across Core Operations. You will reinforce follow-through on leadership commitments through clear accountability, visibility, and escalation. You will coordinate initiatives that span businesses, functions, and stakeholders, surface issues, and help remove barriers.

You will develop concise, executive-ready materials that support decisions, alignment, and transparency. You will partner with Finance, Human Resources, Risk, Controls, and other stakeholders to connect business performance and priorities. You will coordinate select strategic priorities on behalf of the Head of Core Operations. You will ensure leadership routines are focused, efficient, and outcome-oriented. You will provide clear visibility into priorities, performance, and progress for the Head of Core Operations.

Job Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor to the Head of Core Operations and Core Operations Leadership Team.
Coordinate leadership priorities, governance routines, business reviews, and planning activities.
Maintain an integrated view of strategic initiatives, decisions, risks, and dependencies across Core Operations.
Reinforce follow-through on leadership commitments through clear accountability, visibility, and escalation.
Coordinate initiatives that span businesses, functions, and stakeholders; surface issues and help remove barriers.
Develop concise, executive-ready materials that support decisions, alignment, and transparency.
Partner with Finance, Human Resources, Risk, Controls, and other stakeholders to connect business performance and priorities.
Coordinate select strategic priorities on behalf of the Head of Core Operations.
Ensure leadership routines are focused, efficient, and outcome-oriented.
Provide clear visibility into priorities, performance, and progress for the Head of Core Operations.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

10+ years of experience in business management, strategy, operations, consulting, program management, or a related field.
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and advance outcomes in a large, matrixed organization.
Strong business judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and bring structure to ambiguity.
Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Experience serving in a Chief of Staff, Business Manager, Strategy Lead, or similar leadership role.
Financial services or large-scale operations experience.
Experience supporting executive teams and coordinating enterprise-wide initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for AI and automation integration within operational workflows, including experience evaluating, implementing, or governing AI-driven solutions to achieve scalable process improvements and strategic objectives.
