Junior Staff Accountant

Accounts Receivable Specialist
PrideStaff on behalf of a client in Broward County is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage invoicing, payment processing, and collections. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, great communication skills, and 2-3 years of accounting experience!
Responsibilities:
- Generate invoices accurately and post ACH, wire, and credit card payments.
- Reconcile AR accounts, investigate discrepancies, and update customer records.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue balances with excellent customer service.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Service to resolve billing issues.
- Assist with month-end closing, track cash flow, and support audits.
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years in AR, billing, collections, or general accounting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting software.
- Strong communication, time management, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $50,000.00 - $60,000.00
