Contract Manager – Position Requirements The Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing the entire owner contract, subcontract and purchase contract lifecycle, from drafting, reviewing, and assisting in negotiating contracts to ensure compliance with applicable laws and organizational policies. This role serves as a liaison between internal stakeholders, legal counsel, and external parties to ensure business objectives are met. It is critical in mitigating contractual risk, maintaining project compliance, and supporting cross‑functional teams across preconstruction, engineering, procurement, and field operations. What You'll Do Lead the negotiation, review, and administration of EPC, subcontractor, supplier, and other commercial agreements. Partner with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Preconstruction to ensure contracts align with project and business objectives. Maintain contract templates, records, and version control while tracking key contractual obligations, milestones, and deliverables. Advise project teams on contract interpretation, risk management, and compliance to proactively resolve contractual issues. Monitor legal and industry developments, develop contract best practices, and provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders. What You Bring Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or a related legal environment. Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, risk management, and construction contract administration. Experience supporting construction or renewable energy projects, including knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and contract management platforms (e.g., Procore, DocuSign, or similar); experience with multi‑state projects and union/non‑union environments is a plus.
