Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed initial assessments and evaluations to evaluate clients' mental health needs and status. Develop personalized treatment plans that align with clients’ specific goals and therapeutic needs. Deliver individual therapy sessions for adults utilizing evidence-based techniques and solution-focused methodologies. Engage in virtual therapy sessions via secure teletherapy platforms, providing the same level of care as in-person sessions. Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, ensuring immediate support for clients in distress. Participate in ongoing professional development, including workshops, webinars, and continuing education to remain current with best practices in mental health care. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Mental Health Counselor in our organization, you will work primarily with adult clients facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related difficulties, and stress management issues. Your role is crucial in providing empathetic and compassionate support, helping clients navigate their mental health journey and achieve personal goals while fostering resilience and self-efficacy. Qualifications A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). Possession of a master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with clients, showcasing strong communication and interpersonal skills. A compassionate and empathetic approach with a commitment to maintaining a non-judgmental atmosphere. Strong organizational and time-management skills to balance client caseloads efficiently. No history of disciplinary actions on record. Preferred Experience Experience with diverse client populations and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Prior experience in an outpatient setting or a remote therapy role is highly desirable. Knowledge of teletherapy systems and tools that enhance client engagement and therapy delivery.
