Work Environment

This position is onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility, which provides a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and patients. You will work Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic while contributing to the well-being of our community. Our team-oriented culture encourages collaboration, open communication, and ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' needs and establish personalized treatment plans.
• Administer evidence-based therapies and techniques that improve clients' range of motion, strength, and mobility, while encouraging independence.
• Maintain an active patient load, typically providing one-on-one treatment sessions for each individual.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and implement exercise programs tailored to promote recovery and improve physical functionality.
• Document services provided and monitor patient progress meticulously, using EMR software such as WebPT.
• Collaborate regularly with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients on self-management strategies to minimize reliance on medications and surgical interventions.
• Encourage a holistic approach that enhances patients' physical wellness and emotional well-being through motivational support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions related to musculoskeletal issues. Our diverse patient demographic ranges from active adults to older adults seeking to regain their mobility and enhance their quality of life. Emphasis is placed on fostering a supportive environment that empowers patients on their rehabilitation journeys.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT).
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, without any record of board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong knowledge and proficiency in manual therapy and designing exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated ability to utilize EMR systems effectively, particularly WebPT, to document patient care.
• Experience collaborating in interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Involvement in community outreach or education programs related to health and wellness.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 120,000 annually, which reflects your experience and expertise. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
