Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations under physician orders to determine individual treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and goals.
• Implement and monitor the execution of treatment plans, utilizing direct patient care techniques and instructing therapy staff in appropriate interventions.
• Engage in ongoing professional growth by participating in continuing education programs and workshops, ensuring up-to-date practice standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards for all patient and facility-related information.
• Accurate and timely billing practices; manage documentation in compliance with departmental standards.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary meetings, providing clinical input and collaborating to optimize patient care strategies.
• Facilitate family meetings and care conferences when needed, ensuring family members are informed and involved in the rehabilitation process.
• Educate and train staff on best practices related to patient care, utilizing both formal and informal training methods.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and support staff in alignment with patient needs and state regulations.
• Conduct screenings and maintain a thorough review of medical records to assess patient needs and identify eligibility for physical therapy services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patient focus will range from post-operative rehabilitation cases to chronic pain management and sports-related injuries. Qualifications

• A current and valid Florida State License as a Physical Therapist.
• A valid Florida Driver's License, along with appropriate auto insurance.
• A current certification in CPR and compliance with health and safety regulations, including physical and PPD testing.
• An accredited Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a licensed Physical Therapist in an outpatient or clinical setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated strong communication and organizational skills to ensure effective patient care and teamwork.
