Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth evaluations to assess patients' physical capabilities, movements, strength, and limitations.
• Design, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, enhancing strength, and relieving pain, ensuring they meet each patient's unique needs.
• Administer a wide array of therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education tailored to individual cases.
• Effectively utilize treatment modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and cryotherapy to complement physical therapy exercises.
• Collaborate seamlessly with healthcare providers, including physicians, occupational therapists, and athletic trainers, to optimize comprehensive care for patients.
• Educate patients on injury prevention strategies, develop home exercise programs, and advise on lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery and maintain physical health.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in adherence to clinic protocols and regulations to ensure continuity of care and compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on treating patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. You will work with diverse demographics ranging from young athletes to older adults seeking recovery after joint replacements or orthopedic surgeries. This requires a compassionate approach and understanding of each patient's background and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or higher from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy license in the State of Florida.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic or sports rehabilitation setting.
• Proficiency in manual therapy skills and a strong knowledge of evidence-based orthopedic practices are highly desired.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to foster effective relationships with patients and coworkers.
