Work Environment

Expect a collaborative and dynamic work environment in our outpatient office, where you will interact closely with fellow therapists and medical professionals. Our facility is equipped with the latest technology and therapy tools to facilitate the best patient outcomes. A typical workweek consists of Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct comprehensive physical therapy interventions aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and restoring muscle function aligned with each patient's unique treatment plan.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of each client's physical abilities through diagnostic and prognostic assessments, including muscle, nerve, joint evaluations, and functional movement tests.
• Design and implement individualized treatment programs, administering manual therapeutic exercises while motivating clients through non-manual exercises and rehabilitation activities.
• Utilize various treatment modalities including traction, massage, and physical agents to optimize recovery processes.
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, providing recommendations for modifications to physicians to enhance patient-specific care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgery, injuries, and other musculoskeletal issues. This includes working with diverse populations, from post-operative patients to individuals suffering from chronic conditions. You will employ targeted therapeutic approaches to support recovery and functional improvements in each unique case.

Qualifications

• An accredited Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with preference given to candidates possessing a Master's Degree or Doctorate.
• An active State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in orthopedic settings, preferably in outpatient environments.
• Proficient in orthopedic assessment and innovative treatment techniques, with a strong ability to develop effective patient care plans.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, combined with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to maintain accurate patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with state-of-the-art therapy modalities and technology.
• Background in patient education and community outreach programs.
• Exposure to interdisciplinary collaboration with healthcare providers.

Compensation and Benefits
